Off duty

103……. That’s the temperature my car read today!  Needless to say it’s hot as hell and as much as I try to live green i keep the AC on pretty much 24/7 these days.  Going to the beach is an option just on the weekends as you can guess.

As I mentioned before I study Interior Design and projects never end for me. It’s only second week in fall semester and we already have a bunch of projects and presentations to do.  In fact I have 6 illustrations due tomorrow and I’m only half way trough…..gulp….. I will keep it short and will show you 2 of my latest photography pieces. As I’m hooked on vintage stuff lately I decided to try a new technique, which is supposed to be a photography technique Ttv but I simulated it in PS. Ttv is the abbreviation for “Trough the viewfinder” and initially is to be done with a camera shooting the viewfinder of a second camera. Pretty interesting i think and can’t wait to try it. This is what i got with manipulation of a regular photograph in PS ( the beach photo).

The photo lab is moving home

As me and my husband are taking photography really seriously the past year and a half  (beside our other full time activities), we decided to invest in some more photo equipment like professional printer, Prophoto strobes and everything else which comes along with  that and make a photo studio/lab at home. Yes it drained our savings a bit but I really believe this is a good investment. So now I will be working on remodeling the photography page of this blog and eventually start a new blog  quite soon, which will be dedicated predominantly to photography. There’s  already a photography blog/forum which my husband hosts http://profotoforum.com  but i have different ideas and will be generally pursuing  to showcase our art works alone. Up to date I’ve been offering fine art photographs printed on demand by professional online photo lab (website) and drop shipped to my customers without me being able to check the quality of the prints. From now on I’ll be supervising the whole printing process along with the shipping.  This way I’ll will be able to offer the same excellent quality to my customers for lesser price. There will be a lot of  holiday sales and bulk discounts so check back . Here is some of the photographs available on my new shop at the present moment:
