Off duty

103……. That’s the temperature my car read today!  Needless to say it’s hot as hell and as much as I try to live green i keep the AC on pretty much 24/7 these days.  Going to the beach is an option just on the weekends as you can guess.

As I mentioned before I study Interior Design and projects never end for me. It’s only second week in fall semester and we already have a bunch of projects and presentations to do.  In fact I have 6 illustrations due tomorrow and I’m only half way trough…..gulp….. I will keep it short and will show you 2 of my latest photography pieces. As I’m hooked on vintage stuff lately I decided to try a new technique, which is supposed to be a photography technique Ttv but I simulated it in PS. Ttv is the abbreviation for “Trough the viewfinder” and initially is to be done with a camera shooting the viewfinder of a second camera. Pretty interesting i think and can’t wait to try it. This is what i got with manipulation of a regular photograph in PS ( the beach photo).

Pendant tutorial

I’ve been asked few times how Exactly do I make the polymer clay little pendants and rings, so I decided to make a little tutorial for something quite simple. It is a blue translucent pendant with embossed floral pattern colored in gold.

A. You will need the following materials:
1. Polymer clay, color of your choice; 2. Rubber stamp; 3. Acrylic craft paint; 4. Cookie or some kind of small soft material cutter; 5. Jump ring 4-5 mm ( i’m using silver plated jump rings-5 mm ) 6. Craft blade (Just shown in the picture but not needed for this exact project)

B. Cut a small piece of your clay, condition and roll it to desired thickness. I usually roll it to a 3 to 4 mm thick.

C. Press the rubber stamp over the clay sheet.
